Wooly Bear Preschool - The first Wednesday of each month, 10:00 AM to Noon - Children ages 3 and up can explore the wonders of nature during our Woolly Bear Preschool. Join us for some fun nature exploration! $2 per child; call to register.
SKILLS, SNACKS & YACK, YACK, YACK - February 11, 7-9 PM - Instructor: Alice Rhodes. Learn to make homemade candy for your sweetie just in time for Valentines Day. We will be making hard candies and truffles with different colors, flavors and shapes. We will package them real pretty too! $3/person; ages 16 and up.
Great Backyard Bird Count - February 13 and 14, 2010, 2-4 PM - People of all ages and skill levels are invited to join us in this great family-friendly activity. Information gathered at the bird count will help scientists understand more about the distribution and abundance of birds. Scout groups or other large groups should call the Center to schedule a separate time.

The Nature Center is open from 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
We are closed on Mondays. The park grounds are open dawn to dusk everyday.
